Some companies have been able to turn what they do into a verb. For TiVo or Google. there's another verb out there. There is a company called Sling Media and slinging is the term used for people sharing TV shows with each other using their device that they make which is Slingbox. As for the controversy that surrounds this company, it basically involves two professional sports leagues. The issue is this. You have one league embracring the new technology while the other has some questions about it.
