Easily extend HDTV service to another TV in your home

Developed for television service providers in search of multi-room HDTV solutions, the Sling® Receiver 300 is a low-cost IP set-top box that delivers HDTV programming directly from a SlingLoaded™ HD-DVR to a second HDTV in any part of the home. The Sling Receiver 300 connects to the video inputs on the second TV and communicates with the SlingLoaded DVR over the home network so that customers with only one DVR can view television and recorded content on another HDTV in their home.

In addition to receiving an HD video stream, the Sling Receiver 300 can control all the features of your primary HD-DVR. Viewers can watch live TV and recorded programs and manage their recordings. The Sling Receiver 300 utilizes the SlingGuide™ service to deliver an intuitive and flexible interface that goes beyond the traditional program guide, making it easier to browse and search for live and recorded programs of interest. Viewers can filter, sort, and view program information by genres, networks, ratings, languages, HD content, channel, date, time, and more. They can find what they want to watch more quickly, as well as discover new content.

The Sling Receiver 300 features a sleek, thin form factor that is easily hidden behind an HDTV or furniture. The product includes a sophisticated RF remote control capability that allows operation even if installed out of sight. A mounting bracket is provided so the consumer can mount the receiver behind a flat-screen HDTV. And the product ships with the SlingLink™ TURBO power supply, which is a combination HomePlug Turbo device and AC adapter. This simplifies installation by reducing the number of devices and wires needed for network connectivity and power, and eliminates costly or inconvenient wiring of a room with coaxial cable or Ethernet.

For television service providers, the Sling Receiver 300 provides a low-cost multi-room solution that simplifies DVR content management. The consistent user interface and high quality video stream will help to attract and retain customers. The Sling Receiver 300 saves consumers from purchasing another DVR, and eliminates the confusion of maintaining multiple DVR libraries.
